March in Canada

Family time.

In March, mum had surgery to remove her kidney, so I returned to Canada for three weeks to be with family. We were all scared, but we had each other.

I took Ali, Ivnoor, and Grace to one of my favorite hikes — Polly's Cove. I love the wind-shorn granite.

Just last week, Ali proposed to Ivnoor. Claire made the ring in Florence and sent it to Halifax.

He proposed on stage at the theater, after they watched a play. She said yes, and I'm happy to know that they have each other.
